Students for Sustainability and their website, http://www.sustainableearth.blog, is a New England based and student run website that focuses on informing its readers of a responsible way forward in a world facing a crises unlike any other in the history of the planet. We believe that climate change and global warming are real and caused by humans. We believe this is, in fact, a crisis, and should be treated as such.
This project is a collaborative effort that started at Bridgewater State University in the Spring of 2019 for Professor James Norman’s English 206: Reading, Writing, and the Environment.
If you have found your way here, you are reading the first iteration of the website. Students researched, created content, and developed the website over the course of roughly five weeks. This site is a living document that stands as a testament to the dedication and passion of students in this course. Future classes will be contributing to this website allowing it to serve as an ever-growing, up-to-date body of work fully driven by students.
